KONYA WILD SHEEP

Konya Wild Sheep are found only in the mountain ranges of central Türkiye,
not any other place in the World. They have been under protection for many years and have been harvested recently with very limited licenses per year.  It’s shoulder height is about 30 inches and weighs about 110 pounds. Females are considerably smaller and hornless. Overall color is reddish-brown, The horns are curving above and behind the neck. They are prized by hunters for their unique beauty and rarity. Best time to hunt is during rutting time in November.
