BEZOAR IBEX

The height of the Bezoar Ibex changes between 27 and 40 inches. Their legs are relatively short, but with long, saber-shaped horns, curving backwards, and the females have only short hornlets. Colour is uniform between the sexes, changing with the seasons. In summer, their coats are reddish, in the winter, a greyish brown. Both male and female wild goats have black beards, slightly longer in the males. They have a strong desire for high and inaccesible terrain, with malesseeking the most elevated outside of rutting season. The general opinion for the best time to hunt
Bezoar ibex is during rutting time in order to have a better opportunity for bigger trophies. As a general rule, rutting season for the Bezoar Ibex starts by mid November and lasts until the end of December.
